Happy New Year's Everyone!
Jan. 2nd, 2006 | 12:31 pm
The New Year's Eve show at the Outback Lodge was phenomenal. Synthetic Nightmare kicked all manner of ass and DJ
thatritebastard threw down what was, quite possibly, one of his best sets ever.
jdavyd managed to pull the most amazing sound of the their system. We truly felt at home for the duration and thanks to him delivered one of our best performances to date. We sincerely owe those three an amazing debt of gratitude and booty.
For this set we unveiled a completely new sound, reworking some old tracks and providing a new one. We played Feed for the first time. There were several photographers running around who have all promised photos soon. As soon as we get them, we'll post a link to them here.

Monkeyclaus Recording Studio
Dec. 19th, 2005 | 05:21 pm
Monkeyclaus has contacted us again hoping we would pursue recording at their Virgina-based studio. Previously we had worked with Abel Okugawa, Peter Agelasto, and The Caveslut's Hu-Xiao on the Halo Addiction E.P. We had a blast recording there and have always fancied going back in under a less rushed time-frame. They've since renovated the studio and have made substantial improvments to the physical studio. Pretty fucking cool.
100th Monkey Theory sounds kind of stupid, but who are we to talk? We wrote 00hero.

New Years Eve update
Dec. 14th, 2005 | 11:32 am
Carfax Abbey has officially backed out of the New Years Eve show but they'll be back to playing shows early next year. The Dawning guys are currently working on filling the gap (maybe Mindless Faith?), but either way -
We will still play, as will Synthetic Nightmare.
So, come out and have a drink with us and celebrate the new year with some drunken debauchery. There will be one flat cover for everyone so no one gets screwed over for being under 21 (except for that whole not drinking thing, you damn lushes.)
There will be an official post closer to the date.
